🌱 Off the Clock Design Challenge - box design

Hello there. Last blog post ends with very brief To design 3D model of the Mesh#Farmer box in TinkerCAD and to prepare it for a 3D print. So, let us start TinkerCAD and let us design something great!

TinkerCAD

I use TinkerCAD to design simple 3D models for 3D print. I know there are better (and paid) systems but I was getting used to use TinkerCAD for its simplicity. No installation, only stable internet connection and cloud work.

Ideas

I want to design a box mounted on the cone pole. The cone pole will be pushed into soil and the box upon the pole will cover the Gleanergy kit.

My intention is to develop something like a soil probe.

Design

After a few hours (let us say 10) I have this:

The orange parts are the components for a cone pole. They are easily extendable with inserting another cylindric parts. Each has about 100 mm.
The red parts are the components for a box bottom part.
The pink part is a box upper part and the grey is the midsection part.

3D print

Voliá, this is the 3D print in progress!

🎯 Next step

To connect and mount all parts together and to finish the mechanical part of the project. The clock is ticking very quickly.
